What: Via is a ridesharing service, that operates in a handful of major cities, including Washington, D.C. and New York; an on-demand, shared-ride service that picks up multiple passengers heading in the same direction

Expected pay: $30 – $40/ hour

Where: New York, Chicago, Washington D.C.

Requirements: New York TLC license; In other cities, a valid driver’s license; A black, dark grey or dark blue vehicle with leather interior; larger cars recommended

  • “Flex Mode” payment plan; drivers will get $2.55 base, plus $0.35/minute, plus $1.75/mile
